The Tokyo Development Learning Center (TDLC) program is a partnership of Japan and the Social, Urban, Rural and Resilience Global Practice (SURR) of the World Bank. TDLC is seeking to contract with a firm to support organization of our knowledge networking and outreach activity for the Asia Smart City Conference World Bank Day. The Consultant will support the delivery of the International Conference schedule for 11/17/2016, including planning and preparation, conference organization, and preparation of minutes. The Consultant will provide delivery of the conference service, starting from the preparation phase, during the implementation and through the follow-up phase.

Date and Time: 11/17/2016 All day
Place: Yokohama Grand Intercontinental Hotel
Expected participants: Around 350 people (city delegations participating to TDD: 50 persons; city officials participating to Asia Smart City Conference: About 70 persons; 200 public participants)

The consultant will be a firm.


The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Following this invitation for Expression of Interest, a shortlist of qualified firms will be formally invited to submit proposals. Shortlisting and selection will be subject to the availability of funding. Only those firms which have been shortlisted will receive notification. No debrief will be provided to firms which have not been shortlisted.
